USBC Diagnostic Radiologist for a Chest X-Ray Report Review Study (Phase A ADC)
Project summary
Medcase Health is looking for one senior, actively practicing U.S. Diagnostic Radiologist for a medical AI study covering a broad range of chest X-ray pathologies, not a single finding. The work supports the development of AI in radiology.
The selected radiologist will review two reports from the same case without viewing the images and identify up to three sentences where the reports differ. The next phase of the study starts about a week after this one and relies on that output, so consistent participation and timely completion matter.
Project details
Format: Fully remote, report-based review. Images are not reviewed.
Case Volume: We'll confirm the exact volume during the process.
CXR Reports – Phase A:
Expected Start: November 8–12, 2026.
Expected Completion: January 14, 2027.
Expected Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week.
CXR Reports 2 – Phase A:
Expected Start: Mid-December 2026.
Estimated Duration: 9 weeks.
Expected Commitment: Approximately 15 hours per week.
Schedule: Consistent weekly availability is required to meet project deadlines and support the subsequent review phase.
Workload Note: Hours are estimates and may vary slightly depending on the final study scope.
Responsibilities
Review two chest X-ray reports from the same case, without access to the images.
Identify and extract up to three sentences where the two reports differ.
Review cases carefully and consistently across a large study volume.
Apply strong knowledge of radiology report terminology and chest X-ray reporting practices.
Raise questions and communicate clearly when encountering ambiguous or edge cases.
Maintain a steady workflow throughout the project, particularly during the initial weeks, because the next phase depends on this output.
Requirements
U.S.-based, actively practicing senior Diagnostic Radiologist.
At least 5 years post-ABR.
Routinely reads chest X-rays across emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across a high-volume workload.
Comfortable working extensively with radiology report terminology.
Strong communication skills, including willingness to raise questions when encountering edge cases.
Must be able to begin in November 8-12 and maintain the substantial availability required throughout the project.
Must have particularly strong availability during this period.
