India Senior Physician Reviewer – Medical AI Quality (Pool Expansion)

Medcase is expanding its network of senior physicians in India to work on medical AI quality projects for leading global technology companies. As a Senior Physician Reviewer, you'll check AI-generated health answers for clinical accuracy, safety and alignment with current medical guidelines. Your clinical judgment will directly shape how millions of people get reliable health information.
This is a pool expansion. Qualified physicians will join our vetted reviewer network and be matched to projects as they open.
Project details
- Location: Fully remote (India-based physicians).
- Engagement: Part-time, independent contractor.
- Time commitment: Flexible and asynchronous; work at your own pace around your clinical practice.
- Project length: Ongoing, with assignments that vary by project.
- Focus areas: General Practice, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Community Medicine.
Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated answers to medical questions for accuracy, completeness and safety
- Check answers against current international and Indian clinical guidelines (e.g. NICE, WHO, ADA, ACC/AHA, ICMR)
- Spot errors, outdated recommendations, made-up information and potential patient safety risks
- Write clear, well-reasoned feedback explaining each correction
- Rate and compare answers using structured scoring guidelines
- Keep quality consistent across tasks and take part in calibration exercises when required
- Flag edge cases and ambiguous clinical scenarios to the project team
Requirements
Must-have:
- Education: MBBS plus a postgraduate degree in Family Medicine, General/Internal Medicine or Community Medicine (MD, DNB, M.Med or equivalent)
- Clinical experience: 7+ years after MBBS, with active clinical practice (part-time is acceptable)
- Licensure: Active registration with the National Medical Council (NMC) or a recognised State Medical Council
- Clinical rigour: Fluent in international and local clinical guidelines (NICE, WHO, ADA, ACC/AHA, ICMR, etc.)
- Communication and tech: Fluent written English with precise clinical reasoning; comfortable with modern productivity tools and online review platforms
- Documentation: An updated CV and a valid registration certificate, submitted with your application
Preferred, not mandatory:
- International experience: MRCGP, MRCP, PLAB, USMLE or US board certification, or past practice in the UK, US or Gulf region (DHA/DOH/MOH)
- Seniority: Consultant at an NABH- or JCI-accredited tertiary hospital, or academic faculty (Assistant Professor and above)
- Academic or editorial work: Clinical audits, protocol development, published research or formal medical editing
- Relevant domain experience: Past work in AI evaluation, RLHF, AI safety review or complex medical content quality checks
